No the real problem is the kickoff format.

iZu and my Goat xcurate wouldn't have dropped a single map.
they were playing so many scrims after ludwig x tarik 2 and were doing good
KC magnum admitted pretournament that geng and edg were looking extremely strong in scrim. My guess is they weren't doing well against them.
Kc was good in scrim against emea teams but the international teams playstyle are vastly different.
