To me Lerke doesn't need to do much for the team to win imo. Maybe in internationals but EMEA is just so EZ!

Derke could get replaced by an NA plat and Fnatic would still go undefeated in the EMEA league. He does his job well at internationals though.
You NA meatriders truly are something else, your team accomplished almost nothing up until last champs now you think you're the gods gift to the world, same happened in CS too when C9 won the major.

if getting 5th at an international is considered and "accomplishment" that just strengthens the argument for NA being the best region lol. Not even counting all of Americas btw, with Latam and Brazil we're easily the best.
Pretty much. Lock in was a mickey mouse tournament. He should be more proud of getting 5th at champs.

Lock in was single elim and proven half the teams weren't taking it seriously. I am counting Master Tokyo, its the most dominant win since SEN in Iceland. Masters Tokyo is one of the most impressive wins in valorant history, but the facts are Derke and Boaster didn't accomplish anything prior.
Where is it proven that half the teams weren't taking it seriously, it doesn't make sense considering the large sum of money that went into the prize pool, no? Lots of teams at LOCK//IN looked in incredible form too: DRX, NAVI, LOUD and NRG, some of them the best we saw them throughout the entirety of the year, I don't think it makes sense to discredit their win at the tournament?
Also- like, while every other team played in the single elimination bracket, FNATIC did too? They weren't offered any advantage because of the format, in some instances the single elimination bracket made the tournament more competitive. Although, I do see the downsides for that.
