i dont think this was a horrible performance by 100t they took out an alright (except for lotus) looking MIBR, lost to a great looking Sen, lost to a ramping up NRG with an amazing mada performance. It might be more of an strength of schedule problem, and 100t should get a bit more time to fully develop. + they looked quite competitive against 2 of the "best" teams whether they are at the top or not is hindsight.

bang is not a pure controller, if anything bang is most similar to zekken he has looked good on every role but became a smokes player out of necessity idk if they gon put him on other roles but i can see him fully filling that tenz role albeit a with a wider agent pool.
if you knew bang on his early days on 100t or on TSM, BBG this guy never found his permanent role and just played what the team needed.
