Countries I've been to with the worst food
The Bahamas only has good fish and conch
UK has literally nothing except for maybe fish and chips
Portugal is boring
Hungary has good stew but nothing more

I mean I also don't like most of our traditional dishes but next time try out dessert like chimney cake, somloi trifle (my favourites), Dobos cake....
My advice: Next time drink a lot of alcohol and you will found yourself in a different state where you might like the food.

I LIVE IN THE US I DONT EAT AMERICAN FOOD THAT MUCH. You think of American food in as like cheeseburgers and shit like that, I've never had any of those cause I keep kosher. I have burgers every so often and they are good. My favorite places to go around my house are sushi, pizza, and there's this amazing Indian place right next to my house. I usually have yogurt parfaits or eggs for breakfast so not a lot of sweet stuff. I've been trying to lose weight and that's unhealthy as fuck. American food is basically the mixing pot of all the immigrants, so it's not even one real cuisine, and that's what I love about it.

Basically what you are saying is that US does not have its own food.

Cause burgers and cheeseburgers can also not be called American food as there are just as many versions of Burgers in EU or India as there are in the US.

The origins also suggest it came from EU.

well... the only good things about english cuisine is roast dinner and beef wellington. fish and chips is just not that special of a food. its. just. fish. with. chips...pie is good ngl, BUT never tried haggis, cullen skink or welsh lamb
