I'm in Diamond Lobby, and the weirdest lobby I saw was when I met Silver and Immortal in the same match. That's how small the player base is.
u should see the 5am queues. they take like 15 mins and the rank range is so big
I've tried it but usually I play unrated at that time since I'm not waiting 20 min to play comp. Also, in the past, you usually met lots of international students in the lobby, but not anymore.

All servers are dead rn it took 40 days on EU to get 500 radiants I remember some episodes back there was like 30-40 k people in immortal rank

The rank gets hard reset after every episode. Wait for next act to see how it fares.
But overall playerbase has fallen I believe.
morning queue OCE is the funniest shit ever
you queue for 2 hours then get a lobby with 2 radiants, 3 immortals some ascendants and some diamonds its awesome
yh many of my mates arent playing that much anymore, coz game is just stale same old they aint adding anything interesting
