Does anyone know why Zander didn't join a T1 team this season? He was statistically the best T2 NA smokes player in challengers? And why did M80 sign BCJ if they already have Zander? Roles look a lil weird.

last year he played primary smokes on EG but now I remember he played Skye and Fade for XSET.
It's not his choice teams didn't want him, im sure he would jump the ship to join any franchised NA squad (that isn't EG) but it is what it is, even koalanoob trialed for C9 but didn't work out
i think it might have been his choice ngl… the remaining m80 players seemed like they wanted to run it back
You're almost a shoe-in for ascension next year. You get the chance to play alongside some pretty large names, you get paid by M80, you can play alongside your team if you win.
Could be valid reasons not to take offers, assuming he got them.
I don't think they can do well this year, they lost eeiu and johnqt replacing them is very hard to see in T2.
Ehh, it won't be as easy as it should've been, but BCJ and nitro are good. Both were really good prefranchising.
Whichever NA smokes player gets dropped after VCT Americas, Zander will most likely be picked up. He's like next in line.
I forgot he played initiator with XSET last year he was primary smokes and I never followed XSET closely.
Zander probably the most underrated pro player. He belong in T1 for sure.
