Tbh I think it's really down to how well Supamen and Derrek play. Those two are the ones who have to step up a lot. I'm confident Jawgemo and NaturE will play well, but they need big performances for more than just those two. Also, who tf is the igl on this team?

I truly think people forget how much this site and social media wanted c0ms head, he was seen as the worst initiator in americas. Nobody was high on Jawgemo or Boostio, demon1 was completely unknown, was just Ethan people kinda had faith in. Compared to this roster, Supamen has proven himself as a top tier 2 player, Apoth was pretty good on EG's 2022 roster, and Derrek might look way better under a new system. Excited to see what Potter can cook.
Jawgemo and Boostio were carrying EG before franchising, even though they didn't win anything. They had very good stats in challengers tournaments etc.
Supamen on that shitty faze roster was doing what Boostio and Jawg were doing on EG in 2022. Aka carrying the fuck out of them lmao.
Actually supamen fell of performance wise, during that 2022 faze stint, I remember vividly him having some below average games compared to him being a beast on that rise squad.
honestly idk if they would reach the same level of success without the 10 man roster even if this roster is better on paper than the last’s.
One major difference imo is that EG’s core had been grinding as a team for a while before even franchising, the team just upgraded some of the pieces
Now they have to start from square one, with an impatient and cheap org
All im thinking is what kind of nepo is going on in the EG camp because there's no way apoth should be in this roster when there are mfs like corey and gmd trying out for them
Probably related to salary. Way easier to go with an average player with no previous signings in terms of leverage in negotiating pay. Signing gMd and Corey would definitely cost the failing EG lots of money. The org is going to be defunct by the end of the year.
