DetonatioN FocusMe DetonatioN FocusMe Japan Rank #4 Meiy Ibuki Seki SSeeS Tomonori Okimura yatsuka Kazuya Ikeda Caedye Amon Mateus Okakura Akame Yu Gwang-hui (유광희) have completed their rebuild for the 2024 season by acquiring five, including Cho "JoXJo" Byung-yeon (조병연) and a returning Tomonori "SSeeS" Okimura, as well as the core of Crazy Raccoon Crazy Raccoon Inactive in Ibuki "Meiy" Seki, Souta "popogachi" Morita, and Yusuke "neth" Matsuda.

JoxJo spent the majority of 2023 with FENNEL, where he helped the roster becoming Split 1 champions after soundly defeating Crazy Raccoon 3-0 in the grand final. FENNEL was then defeated by a resurgent SCARZ SCARZ Japan Rank #7 Art Koki Kagami Gwangboong Kim Gwang-won (김광원) muto BRIAN Medusa An Min-cheol (안민철) in the Lower Final, ending their hopes towards an Ascension berth. In September, FENNEL announced their new roster, with JoxJo not included.

SSeeS was one of the members of the 2022 rebuild of DetonatioN FocusMe (then named DetonatioN Gaming.) The roster saw little success and SSeeS was released in October later that year, joining VARREL VARREL Japan Rank #2 C1ndeR Ko Jae-hyuk (고재혁) Klaus Kim Min-hyuk (김민혁) XuNa Kim Tae-geon (김태건) oonzmlp Shin Sang-beom (신상범) Zexy Jang Suk-hyun (장석현) soon after. With VARRELL, they were only able to reach the qualifiers in both splits, and after Split 2 qualifiers concluded, SSeeS left the team.

Meiy, neth, and popogachi all played for Crazy Raccoon throughout the entire year in Challengers Japan. In Split 1, CR went on a flawless run during the regular season, but eventually ended second after a defeat to FENNEL in the grand final. In Split 2, the roster struggled against up-and-coming teams such as SCARZ and Jadeite Jadeite Inactive , with the team eventually finishing fourth at the hands of FENNEL once again, ending their dreams of qualifying to Ascension Pacific.

DetonatioN FocusMe won only two maps throughout the entire 2023 season. The roster occupied tenth place in the Pacific League and was eliminated early by TALON TALON Inactive Killua Tanate Teerasawad thyy Anupong Preamsak Crws Thanamethk Mahatthananuyut JitBoyS Jittana Nokngam primmie Papaphat Sriprapha in the Last Chance Qualifier.

The organization then released the majority of their old roster, leaving only Seo "Suggest" Jae-young (서재영) and Yoshitaka "Anthem" Enomoto as the only remnants of the 2023 roster. DFM is slated to participate in the Riot Games One Pro Invitational later next week.
