I have no Idea, but I imagine most of it is in Asia being that 90% of turkey is in Asia. The full population is like 85 mill or smth.
We define ourselves as Europeans, we have a country that receives a lot of refugees, they come from Asia and the Balkans, but Turks live a European life.

Most of it is in Asia, but Istanbul the most important hub is in European side(at least half of it?) so that is why its usually counted to be part of Europe

More of it is in Asia, but it is still counted as a European country because of Istanbul
Well I don’t think that’s why. Istanbul is not even the capital city. I think it’s more up to each person but geographically is both
