Only person who can rival mako is marved when he’s in form

Both Marved and pANcada tbf (arguably and at times, but they both peaked higher imo, while mako was the most consistent).
And his performance apart from Sau paulo in 2023 was not so brilliant.
If he doesn't play to his golden standard I'm taking s0m over him..
I think both Marved and Pancada values is more about the clutches they did.
Mako is more like util usage + trading
Also I still wanna see Mako playing to other team besides DRX, if he keep his level then yes.
It’s just so hard to igl and lurk/clutch at the same time (which is what sets him above all other controllers in my eyes)
Imagine calling your teams util and scaling during execute while simultaneously worrying about a cypher that could be in any corner on the other side of the map.
It’s clear he doesn’t belong as an igl, his calling is mid and his play style took a turn for the worse
Hopefully marved and Pancada look better next season

Yeah s0m is also looking crazy good. I doubt mako will do bad he’s been a consistent beast
S0m might have a crazy tourney tho bc of what happened in Tokyo. He’s gonna come back on demon time
We will see, it’s very possible s0m could be the best controller itw after this event

Buzz is best player on DRX roster but Mako continues to play well and DRX get like 5th

BuZz stood out in playoffs Seoul and RB at Tokyo, mako was still the most consistent probably but also his performance level looks to be in a downward spiral
Why do people talk like MaKo played terribly at Tokyo? It was below his average but people talk like he's a terrible player. Dude was saving DRX in that EG game while the entire team was flopping.
s0m will only overtake MaKo if he continues playing this well consistently for like 1 1/2 years. MaKo has been insane for almost 2 years, his consistency is unmatched

Yes. He did not play bad in tokyo, but s0m was exceptional. Also he didn't perform so well in the pacific playoffs, he just seems to be getting worse

S0m is already in a position to be considered better than Mako if he performs at champs

If MaKo doesn't perform, you can call S0M the best controller in the world, but the GOAT status still belongs to MaKo. That guy has 2.5 years of consistent high level play at the top, and hit peaks that only Pancada has matched IMO. Boaster is a good player, but for purely smokes he doesn't match against MaKo and Pancada
I think that Marved also peaked as high as MaKo (I think pANcada peaked the highest), but sure, mako is the goat controller and he will be for at least 1 more year
Hes one of the rare players that has been playing for atleast 2 and a half years now and stiil stay consistent at the top level of valorant so id say hes the best player in korea and one of the best players in the world rn.
he is definitely top 10 in the world and and best controller in the world for 2 1/2 years and he is top 15 in masters tokyo which was his worst and stax is the reason drx is going down they need a good igl
