They are right along in their w DRX/NAVI IMO. They are very capable of making a run but people expecting them to is kinda crazy.
Regardless I’m hyped to watch them and hope they make it far, they are so fun to watch.
They barely lost to PRX, so did NRG. So at least during Tokyo they were on the same level as NRG, which is a pretty good team

Apparently, the scrimbux in pacific (including PRX w/ something) has revealed that EDG aren't only winning their scrims, but they are on a different level entirely. So, if PRX are what people view as the second best team in the world, and EDG is shitting on them (although, it is just scrims), then its kinda hard to argue them any lower than top 5, especially with their placement during Tokyo.
Personally, I'd put EDG in the same tier with NRG, EG, and TL (plus maybe PRX). You can kinda mix and match the rankings from there.
If I may ask, do you have the scorelines for the scrimbux? The article I read about was the past article of T1's coach stating that EDG is miles above everyone in scrims. But now I wanna know of these recent infos on scrimbux in Pacific

It makes sense, EDG are known to be scrim Gods in pacific, I even remember watching them play LCQ last year without dropping a map; somehow if we see EDG vs. PRX in groups, maybe EDG gets their win this third time? It'd be a banger of a series
EDG is on a different level right now in the CN scene, they are destroying everyone whether they troll their comps or not. Before Tokyo the games were actually close, not anymore.
