lcq is in less than a week and ascension tourney just finished
if you delay champions even though they have already bought out the venue for specific days and have tickets for all their staffs members and people have already bought tickets. So I'm pretty sure it would cost riot over a million dollars to delay it if you take everything into account many of the previous buyers will have to be refunded and if they give them a ticket to the new day of champions then many won't be able to make it.
If you delay the lcq then there won't be time for those teams to make it to champions unless you delay it like a day or two days which won't really change anything. Also it would be unfair for teams who have been scrimming and vod reviewing and spending a lot of resources and time into reseraching another team who they were expected to face just for some ascension teams to get added into the lcq so the format would change.
we are talking about this year not next year. this comment that you replied to said "next week" which is obvious this year and you said just fix the schelduing do im saying you can't do that when it's a week away. but if ur talking about next year then sure it's possible but I doubt it would happen

Edit: Am I the only one who feels like that's not the real reason. It feels like he just came up with that on the spot with how much he hesitated. Could be reading too much into it though.
yes huge missed opportunity by riot cause it such a big task to win ascension give them a shot at champions from lcq. It opens up a path for a completely unknown team to do the full run to champs would be wild.
Nope, there's no point having franchising if ascension winners has the chance to play in Champions without even playing in the league
they are going to be in the league next year anyways its not like they get a free champs slot they still have to earn it
what happened in the league has little influence in the lcq anyway. If u just make ascension teams seed like the worst team like KRU its fair.
