I have read in VCT Global Roster Construction Rules said import players can be counted as resident players if they played 2 splits in their League Region

It means if SCARZ made it to VCT Pacific, Kr1stal and Jemkin will be counted as Residents (Non-Import players) from Japan not from Russia on GCD

If scarz don't make it, dfm better pick up kr1stal and jemkin so that they might actually be competitive in the Pacific league.

That's true. So might be he isn't an import now

I guess technically he only play 1 split in after franchising era of VCL, so I guess that's why he's an import?

if that rule starts to count after the franchising era, then it's correct. So he might be not an import the next year

Correct, he forgot to mention this, as also missing the fact that this is for Dual Citizens, which Jemkin and Kr1stal certainly aren't. This is the VCT Roster Construction Rule, not Challengers. That means it's only in effect for Pacific, EMEA, and Americas.

Article 2.2.4 says that if a Dual Citizen wishes to change its home country/region, they need to play at least 50% of the average regular season matches played by all participating teams in the respective league.

Bottom line: They will have to ditch either Kr1stal or Jemkin if they make it to Pacific.

With how they have been dominating they will play in tier 1 next year regardless of any import rules.
