CUT THAT FRAUD STELLAR FOR LCQ GET THE GANG BACK TOGETHER WOOOO
nitr0 is like one of the only good NA igl's in CSGO ever, and he's pretty solid mechanically (although his recent CS performance doesn't show that)
he won the Grand Slam in CS with Liquid
he probably would need to adapt to Valorant igling since its probably pretty different from CS (given the utility and map differences and stuff)
but he 100% has the capability, very proven
the sheer amount of 100T player shit talking has had a massive surge lately
people are saying bang is mid/bad? he had one bad tournament
he even went toe to toe with Mako at champs (atleast for one map :sob) and he's had a massive amount of very very strong games
bang is super good and it just feels weird seeing all this random shit talk for him come out of nowhere
100T is underperforming with the talent they have.
The most logical reason for this sort of underperformance (good players playing poorly) is a coaching or IGL issue.
They should have hired another coach and gave this core one more chance. If they flopped at LCQ then you can start making changes.
Unfortunately 100T did nothing when they failed the regular season. They didn’t hire another coach, they didn’t pick up another player (even if he can’t play they could have more players like EG) they did nothing.
It’s been disappointing and shows a surprising lack of self awareness from the org.
They’re well aware of this. They’ve trialed some coaches and have stated they could have hired ppl throughout the season but they didn’t want to just hire ppl because they were available, they want to find the right fit. Which goes into why the entire company is going through some real financial pains right now, especially with esports. They can’t afford to spend like they used to, which looks bad for a T1 org like them. Id assume profits from Juvee and apparel probably feed back esports, one would hope because they’re starting to look embarrassing in valorant.
Wasted potential.
they didn’t want to just hire coaches because they were available, they wanted to find the right fit. and the truth is there really werent that many good coaches in free agency. its so hard to find a good assistant coach especially one that fills mikes weakness and results in a net positive. even now i doubt they managedd to find someone who can elevate their game
they did get a mental coach thats pretty well known/good so maybe thatll help
100T can’t afford him. Nade hinted in his recent podcast that the org can’t spend on players like they been. Expect this roster to go forward with potential VCL player pickups and betting on future growth. The entire esports division of 100T will be doing rebuilds very soon.
100T will potentially struggle next season so temper expectations.
First thing they need to do is get a real coaching staff to build a good foundation. Not over spending on players
