How is it 2024 and the rankings system is still awful. PLEASE for the love of god just make a franchise exclusive hierarchy.

I cannot begin to explain how awful I feel for trent, tex, JonahP, valyn, and neT. Worked their assess off for absolutely nothing. Awful man.

VLR needs to add more stats. Weapon stats for specific players/tournaments, utility usage from specific players/tournaments/matches, maybe another metric for player performance besides rating? Idk, but more stats would lead to a more polished website! Thank you.

So far I’ve complained about/wanted added:

1. Better player profiles (Awards shown, bio, age, cleaner presentation)

2. Global ranking system being broken (presentation shows ascension teams grouped with franchised teams and the ratings for all the teams are so broken/off)

3. Player rankings should be added at end of the season

I've been critical of VLR before, but I feel like a better player profile is not something that would offend too many people. The VLR MVP Award's are awesome, but nobody knows who wins that award unless they go to the specific articles. I forgot Leo had won that award for LOCK//IN before I read the Alfajer article, even though I checked his stats/player profile a couple times since that event finished. I feel that a bit more personalized player profile with much better looking stat presentation, player biography, and awards/tournament wins would make this site even more polished. HLTV is the standard for E-Sport websites and there is no shame in taking from their model, especially with how VLR has already implemented a rating's system (which is fantastic, by the way).

I love the players too, but objectively the roster hasn’t performed and the mistakes are glaring. I think Derrek has vastly underperformed and Mikes is not the coach that gares was. Stellar hasn’t been fantastic with calls either but we as fans who have no clue what goes on bts cannot blame him. It could be purely coaching.

Half joking half serious. Stellar is a great player and I like him, but I think 100t has a lot to improve on and IGL definitely needs a look at. Idk if nitr0 is the answer, but not many good IGLs on the market with vanity looking to return to CS

Who are they criticizing? Me?? I’m a fucking viewer, offseasons are good so that anticipation can build and the stakes are higher when there is more on the line in shorter seasons.

Please tell me what you think could be so awful about going from Place A to Place B to play VALORANT that it warrants a complete outcry from the pro community outside of what we know. What extraneous factors make it impossible to play a video game for money.

What else can we do to make sure that you are stress free, cushy, and never put at a disadvantage? It started when there was a single elim format for lock/in and the pro scene began complaining about no double elim, as if getting an all inclusive paid trip to São Paulo to play VALORANT wasn’t enough incentive to participate in a format that resulted in the best tournament of VALORANT so far? Now they’re complaining that there are too many games (one a f——— week btw) which makes their lives more busy for a short period of time? Get real.

It’s so fun playing this team based game where you have rn rely on teammates that don’t do their role!

Just look at your tracker score. Since you flex a lot and your KAST is high along with a 600+ tracker score, it means you're playing well.

Oh 100% but you would think that someone like me who has 800+ hours on controller and rarely goes negative would be more successful. I'm not acting like I should be radiant or high immortal but I think Valorant needs to implement a different rr system for duelists compared to controllers. If you are 7-20 on reyna or omen, you will lose the same amount of rr if you lose. But if your controller is throwing good smokes then they can actually have a positive impact unlike an inting, no comm, run it down duelist.
