mid in most maps is either one extra lane into enemy spawn or just the 2nd site entry point aside from main
Mid is not necessary to have. Not having it doesnt kill defaulting, it doesnt kill slow hits, it doesnt remove any core strategy - it just changes how that strategy works.
sure a site hit is 5050 but so is every other map other than haven/lotus. The only difference a mid has in hits is where the team actually hits from.
Its not like Ascent Mid is a third site, the attackers still have to go to one of the two sites in the end (excluding elimination wins)
