He had 0 creditability as a tier 1 coach coming into Liquid

#13

he got the job based off liquid winning lcq + decent run at champs.

how could he benefit from nepotism? hes not jamppi's dad is he..

#16

Joined Liquid way too late to have any actual effect over their performance at LCQ (which was very clear in how they played), and they could’ve done better at Champs if Emil actually taught them basic shit like orb farming on phoenix. And all this still doesn’t answer how he got onto Liquid in the first place???

he’s doombros brother lmao, doombros just came off of a LAN win when Emil joined

is d00mbr0s part of liquid? no.
what impact would he have on liquids decisions? hes not in the org.

you inadvertently just described how nepotism works haha.

not saying i agree with them 100%, but there are definintely question marks over the Liquid coaching.

#43

yeah that was the point.
it would be nepotism if d00mbr0s was part of liquid and emil had no qualifications, but this is not the case.

nepotism does happen alot in esports. but i dont think its relevant here

#45

Ya. I'm not saying it happened here, but I think the point the guy above is trying to make is that there is indeed an inner circle among pros and personnel. So a referral or some kind of close association goes a long way. That is also nepotism. Again, not saying it happened here.

How is that nepotism? You think Liquid got him because his brother is a coach for another team? WHAT??????

#11

He was a coach in GC prior, also you didn't answer my question. Do you actually think d00mbros can influence decisions at Liquid hahaha

#15

you act like orgs don't do this lol. Even in sports there is nepotism and those are billion dollar companies.

#20

Dude there is nepotism when they are in the same orgs ffs, how can d00mbros who's just a coach can influence a coaching change in liquid. What are you all on lmao

#25

actually answer the question then? do you think this is football where coaches are big hotshots who have actual influence? I don't understand how you can think that d00mbros can get emil into a big org like liquid lol

#33

???
d00mbros = head coach of one of the best and consistent teams in the world, also won a masters. surprisingly the twin brother of emil WHO also coached good teams like NIP in the past. im not saying its nepotism but why are you acting like its impossible? this shit happens all the time in normal jobs and also in e-sports.

always thought he had no impact during time outs, and strats

#32

I thought people will blame on sliggy after how tl manage to do some good runs with emil. but it was just jamppi doing some insane work with chamber and nivera hitting those sheriff edshots.

As I was watching sliggy's stream. He said when TL is losing there is no one to encourage and motivate them. When he was Coach Scream used to do this even if they are 10-2 down. Soo it may be one of the reasons. It is looking like they are not enjoying playing together at all.

Emil is a hard worker, give him the respect he deserves. The amount of work he puts into his coaching is inspiring. Really sad to see people talk this way to a coach who deserves to work at the top.
