Seems easy for EMEA 4, which is unfair.
Edit: thought 2 teams qualify per group, my bad.
Am I understanding this wrong? To get 4th you only need to beat 3 out of 16 teams?
Groups is double elimination. So if you beat a team they could still play you again in the bracket final.
teams in the tournament yeah, but for emea you already played/placed better than 3 other teams that you won't be in group stage with, so acend could play against 5 teams in the tournament but they actually already beat 3 of them, so total 8 teams.
For comparison iceland SEN only beat 3 teams(win 4 games) yet won masters(they beat fnatic twice). fnatic played 6 teams in iceland(played SEN twice). a team had to win 4-5 games without losing to win iceland. in berlin winning 5 games and losing 0 gets you the win.
While I don't like this bracket its not as it seems, atleast its not all single elim like EMEA was before stage 3.
so seeding mattered hella NV and G2 (most likely) will have a hella hard bracket when only 1 can go through
plus it’s sad bc we will have a boring pickem
prolly 2nd, EMEA 1 will prolly be rewarded with not having an NA team in their group

I'm confused, group C is much stronger than D, also A is kinda trash too except NA #1
i think that's more balanced
A: NA 1 + EU 4 + SEA1 + BR2
B: EU 1 + NA 3 + JP1 + SEA2
C: KR 1 + EU 2 + LATAM + JP2
D: BR 1 + NA 2 + EU3 + KR2
but then group D might be the group of death with Acend and Vision Strikers
It will probably be like this(my prediction):
A: NA1 + EU4+SEA1+BR2
B: EU1 + NA3+JP1+SEA2
C: KR1+EU2+LATAM+JP2
D: BR1+NA2+EU3 +KR2
