Why do they like to play the victim card so much?
These mfs actually sent death threats to leaf and xeppaa after their pros and streamers called them cheaters.

"its our culture" "quit being a snowflake" "They will never understand us"
me when i do questionable actions and think anyone(everyone except brazil) who has genuine criticism towards me is a xenophobic racist :o
Let me simplify the average brain-dead Brazilian diehard fan thought process. Say you go outside and you find a Brazilian fan SHOUTING: "show me proof that the sun exists!1!!!1!!!" and you point to the fucking sun as it is shining in a clear sky, the Brazilian fan will simply take acid and pour it onto their eyes, proceed to become blind and then claim "but I cannot see the sun".
i can understand the “us against the world” mentality but if you use that mentality to justify threats of physical violence then you’re just a loser
it's so funny seeing them on twitter mocking the enemy team when loud win against them, posting copypastas, videos and even offending the other players.
but when loud loses and the other team tries to make a joke out of it they start playing the victim card, calling people racist and sending death threats
i've never seen such a hypocrite population like this one
the people that send death threats and the people that complain about racism/xenophobia are not necessarily the same you know
I try my best to defend the BR point of view when I feel there's prejudice or misunderstanding, but obviously I won't agree with everyone's behavior
i respect that, but it’s also odd how little brazilians i see calling out people who give death threats.
usually i’ll see a brazilian complain about racism/xenophobia but when they’re met with genuine criticisms that fuel society’s outlook of them, they’ll then claim “it’s the culture” or “you wouldn’t understand”.
i think if more brazilians thought like you, peoples outlook of brazil wouldn’t be nearly as bad as it is today.
people from all countries think way more alike than we treat in this forum, we just convinced ourselves otherwise because of us/them mentality
tbh I don't recall ever seeing a genuine death threat from a Brazilian in vlr.gg. I guess most of them are in DMs or in twitter comments, which I don't use. I also didn't follow fps back in cs days. That's what I can say for myself.
As for the others, I can think of two reasons. 1 - the "death threat" is clearly ironic, a copypasta or a slang (like the "uh vai morrer" which is obviously not literal) so there's no reason to call it out. 2 - one thing I've noticed at least here in vlr is that when brazilians disagree with each other we switch to portuguese so I guess you guys don't know when we're calling each other out.
or maybe I'm too optimistic and BRs don't call out themselves that much because of the us/them mentality.
Regardless, I feel a strong generalization of Brazilians. If an US kid send death threats or something, people will complain about the kid, and not about "Americans", which would be the case for BRs. Because of that, making a mea culpa rn, sometimes find myself stretching to defend a Brazilian just because I fear that foreigners will assume bad things about me just because of my flag.
"obviously not literal" to you, not to other people who are not familiar with that.
You cant just hide behind "its our culture" all the time, especially if you are engaging in space where English is the dominant language
firstly wdym with "if you are engaging in space where English is the dominant language" ?
the example I gave is done in Portuguese in a crowd, English is not the dominant language in that situation and BRs don't expect understanding of anyone else
and for the other cases, I'm not going for the "its our culture" thing bro, because I'm talking about BRs calling out death threats from other BRs. If a BR joke or slang was mistranslatled as a death threat, no other Brazilian will call the guy out because we know what he really meant. At max, you'll find BRs explaining foreigners about the misunderstanding, which I see a lot happening in vlr at least
You know you got under someone's skin, when they start talking in the non-comman language
funny as hell to see an indian saying that an language is "non-comman" in oppose to english ngl
funny as hell to see a brazilian saying that "an lenguage" in oppose to english ngl
When you know you're not a victim, but still pretend you are...
To benefit from the situation
Most Brazilians are nice people, of course the loud minority get the most attention cuz they say or do things that most people don’t agree with. I don’t think it’s fair to pain all Brazilians as a hive mind.
Probaly some 15 year old kid talking shit. Haver you ever seen we discussing on twitter? It can be a shit show, canceling culture is heavy as fuck. My advice is stop believing the threats, most of the won't harm anyone. But i must say is shameful knowing that Valorant pro players are accusing people without any kind of prof without giving some toughts like really, they could fuck someones career just because they believe that someones is cheating? Do they actually care that these people must sustain their childs with the money they got playing? Would you say that a black man is a gangster just because you think they are? Hell nah. Everyone in this story need to stop acting like clowns because it's getting ugly.
guys, lets just fucking stop. There are stupid braindead Brazilians and those who are the politest and loving people in the world, but stop just hating or defending us, quite the drama and talk about Valorant
