Yea I think the reason it will be more hype than other regions is cause technically it's like 3 regions in 1
Also more spots and more teams, and its not as clear a other regiions, here u have 8 teams that could make it but only 4 spots
It will be hype but I think people will be real disappointed when they realize that Gambit is by far CIS's best team
I mean. It's not huge bait. For some reason some people are overrating NaVi heavily. Guess they don't watch the games. But a lot of pickems are putting forZe over SMB. KEKW. Literal 1head takes from people. SMB is the best in TR by far. Literally 2-0ing OXG which was in semifinals for EMEA playoffs in stage 2. OXG lost to Liquid at the end which were on a roll during that period of time.
Most ppl from EU, TR and CIS do
My guess is though that a lot of people coming from non-EMEA regions will think that CIS is a super strong region just based off of Gambit's performance last time in the playoffs
If they go in thinking NAVI and forZe are on the same level of Gambit, they will be disappointed
gambit kinda did shit compared to non-emea watchers expectations of them. trust me we know without a doubt that gambit is way above the entire CIS region and i think they’ll underperform again
