everyone above silver 1 knows you gotta shoot the eye before going to duel an enemy reyna
then you peek them when they shoot the eye because their crosshair placement is fucked zzzzzzzzzz
the delay until reyna can peek after throwing the eye is bigger than you shooting the eye and adjusting your crosshair zzzzzzzzzz
it depends if you're good mechanically which by your post i don't think you are
