In the Loud vs Optic era Loud ended as the winner?

We can think that the one who remains on top is the winner, so even If the maps were 7-7 we can say that Loud is the winner of the battle for the world right? Loud won Champions with a mid diff on Optic 3-1.

So in the end Loud was the winner right?

in this era, head 2 head el classico they are tied, but this year apparently optic was more consistent with one major, but nonetheless loud won champs (major but changed branding + more teams) but IMO since both loud and optic were almost really consistent this vct, i think loud not making it out of groups cancels it out with them winning champs, so it prob makes optic and loud tied for number 1 this year (2 grandfinal appearances from both, 1 title under their belt for both.) rip to my vision of optic roster that will stick together but diff org vs loud el classico in vct partnership, tho we will see the rise of superteams combos from the br, na, latam and their wraith against a calm emea | asia regions

Loud won champs but couldn’t even win a masters and you think that makes them better than optic?

And Optic won a masters but couldn't even win their challengers

Crazy how Riot said that team success didn't actually matter in the franchising decision, but still gave LOUD the spot over NiP...

That didn't stop Riot from trying to drop G2 into the Americas League.

Loud has lot more relevance on Brasil than NIP, they are the e-sports organization with more followers on Instagram and Youtube, besides that, they have been victorious on 4 differtent games just that year, showing that their project isnt a joke.

the decision is over a project and investment.
Now imagine an org so prepared to enter a scene that in less than a year they gather a team and become world champions...
Also, imagine an org so stable financially that 100% of all the prize money goes to the players and staff.

If you don't think this is franchising material, you're insane

I think they're tied in terms of all-time, but if we're talking recent, then LOUD won, yeah.

by now Loud can win Optic any day.

Loud is god tier in Haven, Ascent, Breeze
and have a decent fracture, bind and icebox

while Optic map pool sucks

only NA fans copium overdose and some braindead brazilians think they're even

#17

Optic was legit 2 rounds away from 3-0 loud again but ok. Only braindead one is you here.

#19

fluking some rounds mean nothing

in the end the best team won.

do I have to remember they dropped breeze to Boom and Team Liquid?
Got 11-1ed by Loud in group stage?

Their best map is bind and lost to Loud in upper finals
being the best is being consistent in it. Loud didn't lose any haven, breeze or haven in the whole tournament.

You’re acting as if loud is in a different tier when they were 2 rounds away from getting 3-0’d again. Don’t get me wrong loud played better in the end. But your argument is shit.

#21

Yeah, they are a different tier.

Furia also took DRX to overtime in ascent, doesn't mean they're the same tier in it

13-3ed in upper finals ascent
11-1 in group stage breeze
13-5 in grand finals haven
cope more

trembola2.0 so much copium on Brazil lol , thinking better even Trembolana is more lucid comparing to you. First time they won something (finally won against optic and already think your team is good tier). Just remember one thing , to be the best u have to be consistent something that only optic did this year (M1 -1st , M2 - 3rd and Champions 2nd) . Loud might follow the same path as Sentinels or Acend , so becarefull with ur words

The diff is that both sen and ace had star players carrying their teams
LOUD played good as a team in general

Edit: não é por acaso que a acend quase perdeu pra vk
(ambos times que só jogam em torno de 1 star player)

its a tie. 3-3 series, 9-9 maps, 1 title each

#30

Loud x Optic
Matches: 3-3
Maps: 9-9
Rounds: 197-200
Titles: 1-1

Iceland: 2x1
Iceland: 0-3
Denmark: 1x2
Turkey: 1x2
Turkey: 2x0
Turkey: 3x1

I wanted to do all maps results but it would take so much time. But only seeing this we can tell that this rivalry is extremely tied.

How can someone be so Braindead , Optic is clearly the most consistent team on 2022 + They are tied in maps ,series and titles with Loud , why would loud be the best?????lol

Seeing loud and Br fans defend option and calling them true foes and seeing optic/na fans do the same for loud hit me deep inside. This was truly and unmatched and even rivalry. Imma go cry in a corner now :(((

LOUD win champions, stayed as a group and made it to franchise.
Optic lose in champions, players goes separate ways and didn't make franchising.
LOUD won yes.

#42

yes... in the end, Loud won

ok, Optic was more consistent, but what matters most are the titles. And although both teams have the same number of titles, they have different titles, and Champions > Masters

you see... in the olympics one gold medal is better than ∞ silver medals
one title in the biggest league is always better than many titles in the amateur/minor leagues
nobody cares about the team with most 2nd places in the world cup or super bowl, it's all about titles...

there is a reason why it's called Champions, a reason why it have twice the number of teams playing, a reason why it have bigger prize pool and exclusive skins

imagine like 10 years from now, people will simply say "optic won one master that year, and loud won the Champions"

optic had a pretty good run through the year, but in the end, loud took the cake (winning Champions was their goal afterall)

optic won more money than loud this year so optic won.
and 1,3,2 better than 2,12,1
