They havent. The thing is even in his worst performance it wasnt bad. He was doing OK. That says something. The fact that he plays like this nearly every single match. No doubt the best player in the world.
Guild is the only team that have shut down yay. You can hardly say fpx shut down yay when yay still went +10 against fpx while losing the series 1-3
Man doesn't get shut down, he either plays bad, gets avoided or they need an actually 2+ man advantage to win

what happened in Copenhagen was Shao carried FPX thru the mud on MANY occasions
1v1 doesn't mean anything in a team game. Yay had a higher ADR, ACS, HS%, and more kills and FK. Yay was more valuable to OpTic than ardiis was for FPX

Its also playing for the team, when victor and Crashies dies to Ardiis, Yay has to take more risks and take more fights.
Ardiis took the smart and easy fights and was never put in position to take those risky duels.
yay had a total of 122 engagements and ardiis had 112 so Yay really wasn't taking that many more fights. only 10 more over 4 maps so 2.5 more per map, pretty relative in terms of amount. and they both had the same +/- at +10, so if all of Yay's fights are riskier and ardiis are easier and smarter why didn't ardiis win more often?
In Copenhagen it was basically everyone battle yay and forget their whole team because FPX and PRX bested everyone on their team except yay and that’s how they won ig…..??!

I don't think it was specifically chamber that was enabling him to do what he did, it was his confidence and his aim to win almost every 1v1 he had that gave him that performance. Supreme level of skill
