How will it help T2 scene? A lot of smaller teams will just leave the scene then right?

if they actually put this in america and asia/apac, and have a slot into masters from vrl. The thing is if they were planning this why wouldn't they make this public so that some teams might not leave even if they miss franchising like what happened to NA tier 2

No, VRL finals compete for money, honor and exposition to get signed for tier 1. Still closed circuits in tier 2 where you can accede from open tier 3 tourneys are really really good. They give orgs stability and makes investment secure, also this is not like Lol, here every 4 years if you’re a top org you get the chance of getting into franchising.

It’s also really really good for the players who have a secured job and place to compete in and proof themselves

And last thing, orgs are not just simply leaving Valorant, simply there aren’t any more tournaments until next year so it doesn’t make sense for orgs to pay their players 6 months where they are not gonna compete. Or maybe they just wanna change the roster and it doesn’t make sense to start looking for players until next year yk. Don’t worry that much, they know what they’re doing

You have to keep in mind 2 things:

  1. Some orgs just entered Valorant scene to apply for the franchising system, but these orgs couldn't make a enough fanbase to be accepted, and if the org does not want another thing that franchising they leave (blaming Riot although they didn't make things good as an org to create fanbase)

  2. Other orgs (most orgs that seem they're leaving) are benching their players because they don't have enough money to keep them until franchising and t2 regional leagues start, so don't confuse it with leaving the scene, they are just waiting for competitions to form a new roster to compete

yea, but again. they might not only care about money, but, maybe its like

  1. money
  2. org structure
  3. fanbase
  4. etc.
    this also count

Dude, it has been confirmed and proved a fucking thousand times, it’s a fact at this point. Money matters ofc, there is a minimum of requisites you must meet, but there’s 50 orgs in every fucking region meeting them, from there on what distinguishes one from another is Fanbase

Nobody wants a LEC 2.0

#23

No it’s not, fanbase is, look at LEC full of rich orgs no one cares about

I am laughing so hard at this ge "as an org" doesnt have 100 million dollars, although if he said 100 million ruppes than I can assume its true. They might have even more investments that countribute to some of this but if they had 100 million dollars they were selected by now, 100 million dollars basically means 800 crores, as of right now i dont think pc orgs (except maybe orangutan) have this much money, maybe mobile orgs (that too from sussy sources) have but i dont think about ge

Vlt owner owns a 500 million dollar company have nothing to do with vlt you moron why the hell then vlt got rejected despite having great CCs and 800 million dollars as you said lol, as I wrote in quotes "ge as an org" has less financials, as far as I know ge had networth of 13-15 million dollars in 2021, networth is always greater than the financials thats why I assume they may had some growth till now but not like 100 million dollars also they may invest from other spaces so we could assume that too but still it wont be 100 million dollar in bank lmao , I am not pulling anything out of my ass, yes I made an assumption but it was based on what I saw.

Ok CA saab aap toh balance leke baithe hai GE ki. GE ka owner ne apko hi toh bola tha org ke pass kitana paisa hai kitana nahi. Aur rahi baat VLT owner and his money ke logic toh Orangutan ke Owner ka bhi same hai.
Ab muze aisa pratit ho raha hai ki aap meri baat samajh gaye honge 'GE ke CA' .

Bhai tum gadhe ho rahene do tum nahi samjhoge, par fir bhi ek aur clue, ruhindra tweeted to raise 5 million dollars but if they had 100 million dollars in bank (especially as rushi said they are just there rotting) lmao not shot they will raise a funding,

Edit:-maybe they have 100 million dollars I am not denying they cant have but it just seem far feteched

the problem is CSGO is dead in APAC and no chance to go to international tourney

Riot is not gonna allow that, it’s as easy as making VRL’s

its so bad bro. all these talented underdog players have no time to rise up and get the spotlight, they are left in mickey mouse tourneys forever. all these low level teams that have so much potential are left in the dust by all of these big superstar orgs. its truly not fair. so many people are losing their careers. so many people are gonna lose their passion. it sucks so much.

As long as they also make VRL’s like in EMEA, there’s not gonna be a single problem my friend

I don't think they will make one for APAC since rito doesn't love us :( also the prizepool would probably even smaller compared to self-organized tourneys lol

no bro imagine riot giving 10 slots to the whole western regions (not trying to compare just using it as an example) and NA gets 3 slots EMEA gets 3 and SA gets 4. This is what is happening now in APAC theres too many teams.

Before qualifying for APAC Challangers Playoffs they need to qualify from the respective region for example Thailand gets 3 slot to APAC playoffs MY/SG gets another 3 ,Philippines gets another 3, Indonesia gets 3 slots ,Ocenia gets 1, India gets 2 ,HK/TW gets 2 Vietnam gets 3. Than they need to compete to get to masters, PRX and XIA were the two dominant teams that gets to masters back to back but XIA isnt really dominant, they just won by a little.

After franchising we need to combine KR n JP in which is not fair cause JP is just a country but they get the same amount of slots as SEA (which includes TH,MYSG,INDONESIA,PH,VN)

in NA teams that disbaned the team said that some of them will come back in 2023 and for us viewers will be much more fun because there will be league and matches will be played on LAN every week + 3rd party tourneys. There's no way riot forgot about tier2 scene just look at League from liquipedia, its gonna be something like league. im thinking more of the viewers side but idk im not worried at all.

#46

APAC has no 3rd party tourney or LAN, so the tourney we play is VCT.

#49
Hewcho

idk about APAC but there's no 3rd party tourneys in EMEA aswell, 2021 there was some 3rd party tourneys around the world but this year was only VCT. NA and India has some 3rd party tourneys tho but we'll see

till now i havent seen a single pro player complaining about franchising idk why ppls madling before anything is announced, for us its just entrainment but for riot and pro players its their means of earning so they will definitely take any step carefully keeping everything in mind
