Will EMEA be as close as the NA and APAC LCQ's?

I wrote this whole thing then accidently closed the tab I'm dead inside

ANYWAYS

LCQ. We all have loved the fucking closeness of the NA LCQ and I've spent a LOT of time watching the APAC LCQ as well. Of course, I'll be watching the EMEA LCQ starting later today (and then in like 20 hours East Asia is going on too). I hope to the Valorant Gods that the EMEA LCQ is even half as close as the NA or APAC LCQ. So, here's some of what I'm talking about.

These are the NA LCQ scores.
19-17 = 1
17-15 = 2
15-13 = 3
13-11 = 4
13-10 = 2
13-9 = 1
13-8 = 1
13-7 = 1

I did the math. 10 out of the 15 total maps have been a two round game at the end, with 6 being overtime games. The average total rounds of each map is 25.9333 / or 26 rounds per game. That's an average of an overtime game. That is insane. Every single match has had at least one map that ended with the two teams within 2 rounds of one another. It's so cool that a region can have team #3 and team #10 on the same level. Every match is a nail biter, a coinflip. Any round thrown is LETHAL.

For APAC, I took the top 6 as they were notably closer than having the whole LCQ / all 12 teams. APAC LCQ has been great btw. Any other degen's just chilling at times like these, watch APAC. It's more patient than NA (NOT PAPER REX THEY THEIR OWN SHIT) but not as boring and defaulty as EMEA. Anyways, top 6 has been close. Note : two 13 - 5's happened in the same series of Order vs Team Secret. Here are the stats of top 6 (Upper semi's + Lower round 3, and further)

19-17 = 1
14-12 = 2
13-11 = 9
13-10 = 4
13-7 = 1
13-6 = 1
13-5 = 3

That's an average of 23 rounds aka a 13-10. Regardless, 12 of the 21 maps were within 2 rounds. VERY CLOSE GAMES.

So, that's what I want from EMEA, and East Asia too. That's it. I just love how there have been so many close games and with APAC finishing up [currently 12-11 for Boom (2 maps) vs Onic (1 map)] I need to keep these constant thrillers in my life.

Anyways Boom just won. GG to them. A little blip on them, I was big on them in stage 1 with how they were a "super team" and they didn't deliver then. Same with Stage 2. So, I lost hope in them. I'm glad they won, they really deserve it. Especially after another 13 - 11 thriller. Thanks' for reading, have a great rest of your day.

whoever wins the LCQ will finish at least top 8 in champions

No because EMEA actually have good teams that can close out games and not make every game a coinflip.

nah I truly beleive that the competition in NA and APAC are just ALOT closer together compared to EMEA, I love EMEA as a region I think they have some of the best talent there, but theirs a HUGE gap between say the top 5 and below.

its not closer its a lot more chaotic so NA and APAC mostly depend on their cracked aims, which APAC does better XD

true, if he watched the game closely he should know it was a competition of who throw the round harder

You clearly don't watch SEA if you genuinely believe that. If you're talking about a year ago then sure but the SEA competition has risen A LOT. It's a Mishmash of so many different styles and the coordination is unlike any other region (other than Drx when they're in good form).

Closer in competition doesn't mean good teams lmao. APAC and NA as regions when compared to international competition gets hard carry by PRX and Optic. Anyone that deny this is on copium. EMEA have very strong teams that can have strong international showings.

He never said closer = better, he's just saying the competition is there whilst as in EMEA the 8th team would have NO CHANCE in beating the 4th best team. It's just a lot more fun to watch. Not taking a look at the scoreboard anyone with a brain would be able to tell that this region is no joke, they have crazy execs and the confidence is massive in winning out the rounds which always makes the rounds super back and forth. No team backs down just because they got destroyed the previous round it's just banger after banger

Exactly! I never said closer=better, I was just stating that the competition in APAC and NA are alot closer together than EMEA, like I stated, I think EMEA has some of the best talent, with some of the best team play in VALORANT and their international showings prove that. I was just saying that the competition in other regions such as NA and APAC are alot closer. I don't think a team like FUT would beat a team like FPX or even M3C.

na and apac are both 1 team regions with most after the best team being equally shit. emea is a 2 team region but the rest are all shit but different levels so I don't think emea is as close

all EMEA teams can win
GUILD could not go far as in playoffs
1.they faced FPX who are from same region and FPX knows how to counter their slow playstyle

  1. they faced PRX who has a unique playstyle

Ppl sleeping on guild so hard. They lost to top 2 teams prx and fpx which ended their run. They legit beat optic first match 2 0. Even I as a prx know to fear EMEA as a region. NA and APAC fans are truly carried by optic and prx atm. Their teams need to reach that level of play.

yeah they are all shit enough to throw a game or two but obviously navi, og ldn utd, and bbl are much less likely to win then the others.

what are you responding to? I'm thinking of fnatic and fpx as the two emea teams?

guild defeated KRU and Optic
"obviously navi, og ldn utd, and bbl" all these teams can win matches in an international lan

Oh I understand what your saying, yeah I guess guild could win matches against the best but still a tier dif I think.
Your delusional if you think those emea listed teams can beat optic, loud, drx, prx, fnatic, fpx, (guild ig)

if those teams(OGLU,NAVI,BBL) can defeat ACEND,M3C,LIQUID then ofc they are prepared for optic, loud, latam teams, jp teams and XIA
did not add PRX cause there playstyle is different and they are the only team with that playstyle

being able to beat jp, latam teams and xia doesn't make you a top competitor. na is a 1 team region because optic is the only team with a chance at winning the whole thing, same with apac prx, in emea what teams have a chance at winning it all? Acend m3c and liquid I do not think have a chance at all winning champions in current form and oglu navi bbl might get a map in champions but they would never go far in champions

M3C got eliminated by FPX ins stage 2 who won masters
"being able to beat jp, latam teams and xia doesn't make you a top competitor"- thats FPX who won masters
NTH,XIA,GUILD,FNC,OPTIC,PRX

Yes they did get eliminated by fpx? my point is their is a tier gap though which losing to fpx doesn't really show there isn't.
FPX beat fnc optic prx which makes them the best in the world. Nobody says FPX best team in the world because they beat NTH XIA

emea has more balanced and stronger top teams then any other region. I can realistically see their top 4 or 5 teams have good international showings. Their games are much easier to predict and probably way more one sided because the top teams don't make as much mistakes. It's boring to watch as a viewer and probably why more ppl like the back and forth nature of APAC and NA but reality is they play really good valorant.

With the discipline that the EMEA players have, I don't think it's difficult to beat their LCQ opponent with such a far score. We look forward to the matches that will come in a few hours.

If u watched NA LCQ, u would get how bad the teams were. Can't expect the same thing from EMEA.

probably not

there is more of a tier gap in emea than APAC and NA, m3c and guild are way ahead of the rest, winner of emea lcq will probably be champions contender
