I don't care about the T2/T3 scene, im here to watch quality Valorant from T1 teams
i just liked yhe open quals the 256 rounds where everyone had to fight for it and upsets happens and stuff
more fun
the quality won't be there if talent has no way in but you probably won't notice that
if a T1 team needs to make changes they should scout and recruit directly from ranked leaderboards

Almost all of the teams in EMEA's vrl knew that they had no chance to get to challengers with the spots available, yet that didn't stop them from still competing and giving light to talented players that have already found space in tier 1 (alfajer, musashi, and more in the future)
quality valorant has to come from somewhere, use your brain
Tier 2 is needed for a region to be good
I mean what about the aspiring upcoming players then? I get it u like watching clean tier 1 valorant but there is a pro scene out there where there are players who have been grinding to get to the top. And all of a sudden there's no opportunity for them. Take a look at Shopify Rebellions (Ex LG) for example.
Well if you're a talented player who is climbing in ranked you will get noticed by good T1 players who also plays ranked. Maybe you get the chance to duo que with Tarik and he can vouch for you (if you're good) to get a trial chance in a good team!
T1 will degrade without support from T2. So, enjoy it while it lasts. This is like saying I enjoy pro football, but we should eliminate all the college/feeder leagues where good players get noticed and recruited into pro.
The existence of a partnership program doesnβt mean that Valorant wonβt have lower-level leagues. They already announced their NA college competition and will likely announce more stuff close to Champions considering how little we even know about the franchised league
I think that franchising can work well. If there are proper regional league I'm a fan
Itβs gonna be harder for new blood (not washed exgame pros) to come into the t1 scene is which I donβt like
unironically though I think they're doing something like this with the in-game tournament mode and the so called "path to pro" section of their 2023 format reveal website
You guys don't even know clearly riot plans on how tier 2 or new players become pro just relax. The prospect of franchising was the reason why so many orgs invested in valorant in the first place. Imagine orgs doing all that and then riot decide not to franchise they'll be piss.
