Is the only region that still hasn't made it out of groups at an International Event. Sadge!

honestly, its kind of sad they didnt get seeded bc NIP was just a bad team. Imo it needed to be kru vs loud to decide the playoffs spot and the extra spot into the groups, its just unfair to decide one team over the other because the second best team was supposedly better.

Yeah, the issue with that thought process though is that KRU, that 2nd seed, were better than LOUD too, not just NiP. It seems weird justifying LOUD going straight to playoffs now that we know that KRU are the better team.

oh yeah thats true, but it still punishes loud for something that they really cant control sadly. But for example, last time if loud and kru played we could gotten lev in reykjavic instead of nip.

LOUD would win against KRU 7/10 times

But they didn't win this time.

When it matters.

Man, it's always "br teams did bad" but it's never "the opponent did good".

dont get me wrong, kru played amazing and they always deserve the win, but a finalist in the last event gets no leeway which is kind of sad. the last finalist imo didnt get any worse, but still came in last place even though other teams get seeded directly into playoffs.

That's true. Sadly at this point the only ones who like this tournament format is Riot. I hope they change this.

Maybe teams could be more vocal about it (if they don't like, i'm kinda talking as a fan of good Valorant matches, and also after reading a lot of people criticizing it)

The fact is that both regions should have 2 seeds in international events. Both have regions with strong young talents, and having internacional experience would help to improve both regions. And them you give 3 spots to NA and EMEA (both have win 2 events until now). Franchise system will help these to regions to develope, especially Brasil that is coming with 2 strong orgs.
