Should i watch this guy or nah? What i know is a lot of streamers used to dislike him bc he used to be on their asses all the time. Now most of the streamers who hated him are gone or forgotten by the scene. How does someone like him get so popular in this scene? If his vids are ass then how has he become popular?

To add on and answer the other two questions - he isn't making that much Valorant news nowadays (watch TacticalRab to get daily updates on the Valorant scene). He's pivoted into general streamer drama and some political commentary given that it's a bigger space which means more potential subscribers especially with the audience that he caters to. It's a slop news farm, but he drags the conversations on for longer to get that sweet Youtube revenue.
His videos are just basic spiels similar to what other news content creators do. He occasionally can make a good point, but a lot of his humour is generally darker or offensive and mixed in with memes (e.g.: if someone says the r-word, he cuts it off and brings Tarik's face on screen because he said it in the past or if he makes a suspect comment, he will cut to Pewdiepie saying "for legal reasons that's a joke".)
A lot of his video topics, you can find other people covering so you aren't missing anything if you watch other Youtubers doing the same thing.

He is good , but nowadays he is also making valid points on drama so yeah he is fun to watch

He does what people do to make money. Just farm out of the drama. Only egregious thing besides the split incident was going after AverageJonas multiple times.
Can't lie. AverageJonas was moving so weird. He somehow ruined his image of the lineup guy by being weird with his own girlfriend and another female Valorant streamer in the community (sagemommy).

idk i don't need someone to fill that role i'd rather we just don't have a drama milker slop guy at all in the scene as i don't enjoy clickbaity drama milking slop but i suppose if you're looking for that content he's doing it the best
