Stage 1 or Stage 2? If u didn't like both, what's ur ideal format for masters and champions?

Stage 1 4 groups top 2 each group goes to playoffs.
Stage 2 2 groups playins top 2 each groups goes to playoffs with 4 top seed teams.
What i meant by stage 1 was like masters 2 reykjavik, masters 3 berlin, and champs 1 mb. But reykjavik didnt have groups.

stage 1 is the name for masters 1 and its qualifiers
Both stages have the same format. I believe swiss format would be great for Val
i think it would be cool to have to groups of 6 and top 4 of each advance. that way i think it's possible to guarantee that every region plays against every other region at least once.
Yeah, honestly i really wanna see those different regions matchups, dont wanna watch the guard vs optic in masters quarterfinal would u 💀 feels like such a wasted match
Masters Berlin had the best format and the best slot allocation, they should’ve kept it at 16 teams
I do not like direct seeding into playoffs. I prefer that every team has to qualify through a group stage. Maybe you could give the top seed a bye in the group stage instead?
I do like double elim playoffs that's an upgrade.
16 team Swiss no bullshit seeding problems n every team starts at same position all matches bo3
