Japan is still going to bring the viewership, even with ZETA not being on the stage.
Because Japanese fans supports whoever represents their region.

Japan fans will watch whatever JP team at Master, Team Secret lulw, Xerxia and PRX have more fans.
Im a SEN fan. i like the team. all of them. i was sad when zombs got benched. but i thought a change would help the team. a lot of people got into val esports because of the sen roster. so be thankful for them. they were the most watched team this last VCT in NA. they are a team of streamers but it didnt start like that. show some respect. they were the first dominant val team. its hard to stay ontop forever.
Sentinels still have the most flair count on VLR and that's just vlr, they're still most popular team without even performing.
I think you're forgetting this is the first event with crowd, viewership will be good for sure
It will only have a decent viewership in the semifinals/finals if LOUD, Fnatic, OpTic and PRX or NTH make it to this stage
It's good new teams make get more time cause then ppl become fans of good valorant rather than depending on orgs or pro players to careh viewership lol

tenz, tarik and hiko can solo carry every match to atleast 80k viewers (not sure about groups but playoffs fs)
same thing has been happening since masters 3 last year, sen bombed out early and sen g2 got highest viewership. champions didnt have any famous teams as japan never reached far, only kru carried some part till top 4. in masters 1 2022 we realised that val is a global esports, so even if someone like kru or sen doesnt make it, the viewership can still reach high enough. japan fans will support nth if they go on a run like zeta, brazil still exists and loud is sure to go deep. kru might make a run this time who knows. there are very many optic fans especially after they won last time, NA fans will fall onto optic as there only hope.
i mean according to the flair count on the site ( japan not included bcz they don't really use the site) we have like 2-3 teams fron the top 10 flairs, so yeah it's not gonna be that big
