Both doesn't have what it takes to make it out of group stage if one of the 2 makes it to Copenhagen. They don't compare to OpTic's form rn and both don't have the required firepower and teamplay for an international event.

EMEA, BR and APAC would destroy them on their present shape, if they don't study other teams and improve their teamplay i don't think they could succeed
I personally think faze match up well against BR and APAC.
Both scenes are very dependent on their star players styling on the other team.
Faze has 2 guys that can style on anyone when they are in the groove.

People said that Japan would get destroyed going into Stage 1. Suffice to say that didn't happen. I think making inter-region predictions based on a teams current intra-region performance is a bad practice in general. There's nothing concrete to support such statements beyond opinion
NRG has a high skill ceiling and some LAN veterans, I think they have potential to do well in Copenhagen if they fix their mistakes
previous 100T excelled in LAN. But the new 100T have stellar and ASUNA only.
I think everyone is surprised that they made it to this point, but I agree, I just dont see them winning against like Guild, DRX, or Loud, much less Fnatic (Hopefully this becomes a jinx).

EMEA is the weakest region, therefore, OP cannot comment on what NAs 2nd seed will do, because his region is sending 3 teams that wont take a series against an international opponent all tournament.

Actually NRG might succeed. They're full of Previous CS players and are basically built for LAN
You got NRG: relatively low firepower but good strats
And you got Faze: relatively high firepower but no strats
Then there's optic: high firepower and great strats
And then there's Sentinels: no firepower and no strats
