No. But he was talking on stream how he prefers to be in structured team and TL really isn't that. Also its possible he just thought that you can't fix TL due to IGL issues so him leaving would be win/win for both parties I guess.
i've seen an interview where l1nk said himself that he doesn't want to be on a smoker role, he wants something more aggressive.
in an interview he said that he didn't want to play support, said he didn't necessarily want to play duelist but wanted a more aggressive role/ a more aggressive playstyle for the team.

yeah i think l1nk was burnout tbh and needed a break im sure he will shine else where as his skill is undeniably good, but the elephant in the room that TL was ignoring is the need of an igl, you cant make it without a good igl in this game, but the team had a 5 insanely talented players and more importantly 5 nice and kind hearted teamates(which is rare) , it made it hard to take decision to kick one of them , link figured out someone has to do it , and big props to him for stepping down,liquid now will wait out next market and try to snatch a tier1 igl , it will only get better from there

This has to be the only explanation otherwise they don't have any reason to bench such skilled player
If the whole "G2 dropping their roster & picking M3C" is true, Nukkye is an easy pick for liquid. A proper IGL that also frags.
They can also play around the roles.
Nukkye is not a proper IGL, his calls are horrible. Most of the rounds they win is through multi kills from Avova, M1xwell or himself. He will be much better under an IGL than as the IGL.
