How we feeling about 100t's chances of getting through quals next week? IMO this iteration of the roster is really good, and even if they don't make it next week, they should def stick with it for a good while. All the players can frag, and their macro play seems rly good, they just make a ton of stupid mistakes which makes sense since their a 3 week old team. If they round out their map pool and work a bit on synergy/ not throwing every possible round they should be a rly good team.

this weeks roster looking good boys

Tsm also had like just two or three days more than 100t for prac ...so don't use that as an excuse

I think there's a big difference between the two. Tsm switched out one chamber OPer (Wardell) for another chamber/jett Oper in seven. Rossy, Corey, subroza were already there, and they switched out aleko for Gmd. They already had the base, and just had to adjust slightly with seven on Jett on a map or two, integrate gmd, and I think move Rossy onto Sova on some maps. 100T rebuilt absolutely everything, from coaches to players, and even the two players that stayed from the already unstable past rosters both switched to new roles. 100T probably should have won the games yesterday, and kinda threw icebox and then threw that 3v1 round. If they don't lose that round, they have a good shot at winning, but they lost and fell flat from there.

the difference is TSM had their core of Subroza Corey and Rossy working together since last year after LCQ, they had a team culture where the only real problem was integrating gmd since Seven is basically a 1for1 tradeoff with Wardell in roles on the team at least. 100T has a new core and its one core member of the team switching to a different role calls for a lot of change, theyre basically building from the ground up. Not excuses, just how a team environment works, nothing is fleshed out immediately.

Better than a 3 week old team coming within 1 map of qualifications of VCT groups and running over good teams like Knights and GenG to do it. If so, you are being overly optimistic because they did fantastic ESPECIALLY for a brand new team

The individuals are good like WIll, Derrek and Asuna but stellars calling isn't it their T sides are so ass

i agree and disagree tbh 100t r looking rlly good on T side like those last last 2 matches against Knights and TSM they had a really good T side..

I think what they struggle is with defending.. Whether it's defending a site on Defenders side or Defending the site Post plant and stopping a retake.. that's what they should work on IMO

I think there is a good chance of making it through, they got close last time and there are four spots. They will also learn and grow from previous experiences. So I think and hope so

They're looking really good for the amount of practice they've had. Sean/Mikes seem to have many unique ideas that we saw. I'm expecting them to qual

guys this team almost qualified in the first round of qualifications. This was against teams that have been working together for months. Teams that have deep strategies, protocols, and variabilities in their play. Against 100T with two new coaches (MikesHD isn't new to coaching but new to 100T, I know) two young players on TOTALLY different roles, and three weeks of practice. This team will go far just give them time :)

unfortunately they lose a close series as Darkzero qualifies for the group stage!

The amount of time 100t had for prac is almost the same as that of tsm...maybe a day or two ....so it's kinda dumb to use that as an excuse

I agree, but also the core of TSM hasn’t changed for months. Subroza is still IGLing and roles haven’t really been swapped out all that much besides the occasional Omen with gMd or skye with Seven. Whereas with 100T Asuna is on a completely new role, and the rest are all either inexperienced or very young. I think with time this 100T roster could do huge things especially after their matches between Knights and Gen.G. Reminder the only team they lost to the whole quali was TSM
