Gonna be honest I don't see why they reported on Akrew
I understand Kanpeki went to Sentinels
And Akrew signed Zachareee and that both of these transactions had t1 teams/players involved, but
If they're gonna report on teams in NA that are t2, they should also be reporting on teams that are t2 in other regions

I dont disagree, but I feel they should be reporting on all teams of similar stature in other regions if theyre reporting on teams like Akrew

There are way too many teams to be reporting on then + Akrew was killing the T2 scene for a while.

Its just I feel theres a very large bias towards Na and a little of EMEA when I want more info about all regions.

They probably don’t know about all the regions. If you have a writer from NA, they are going to naturally know more and be more interested in the NA scene. Same with EU and so on.

there are also EU reporters
George already said he finds NA more interesting thats why hes reporting the NA scene

If you have NA reporters, you're likely to have more NA articles

We're working on upping the number of team that we report on in NA and other regions, but it's just inevitable that we're going to miss some teams. When announcements from other parts of the world (like OCE, JP, APAC, etc) drop and people aren't around or just busy with other things then it just doesn't get covered unfortunately. It's a process that we're working on improving, but it's no means perfect.

I do my best every Friday to make sure News Almost Missed covers as much of the stuff that might warrant a full article as well as teams that are notable in other regions but don't qualify for their own article so that their stories don't just go unseen to audiences for other regions. Appreciate the feedback though!

That sounds good, and reasonable. I do very much like the News Almost Missed.
Glad to see VLR is still improving

Side thought. Akrew were the first to run Neon on fracture.

Is that valuable enough though to consider for future articles?

Most writers would probably write about a change/announcement about a team that made a greater impact in their region. Sometimes, news can be based upon a team that once competed internationally either this year or last year so that people understand the change that went through and if it is of great value or not.

See my point is that Akrew have never been close to being a contender for international tourneys, but we barely get any articles on teams like Full Sense who competed at Champions. And for Akrew to get articles over teams like Full Sense or Leviatan (who was in the LCQ for S1 quals) It just seems off to me.

I agree with that. Just like what Hudsen said, there will be writers who would be taking care of other regions so that there is more global awareness of teams. I would like to see this happen soon in the future.

I think it’s just if they wanna report it and the article is good enough vlr posts
