haven't heard anything on CFO, GAM said they're committed to val next year but didn't clarify if it was as a partner. hopefully it is because vietnam is getting their own sub region. CFO would be awesome but i doubt it

They don't have their own qualifiers heading into next year tho, I guess they'd be lumped into RoSEA but there's already Paper Rex getting partnered there
i mean hktw has always been a horrid subregion regardless (except xlb which is just a cn acad team larping as apac, otherwise worse than oce) so whether they are in cn or apac they would be rinsed regardless

they dont necessarily need to get a named player, there are enough ranked hktw phenoms to do it, the problem is that scene is mega corrupted and limited by real life restrictions, which wont get any better if they get absorbed into cn because of politics
