I think NSR were overhyped, they obviously looked good in pacific but I'm not sure if they were comparable to themselves from santiago like some people were making it out to be
the veto was actually good for them too so i can understand them being overhyped since they didn't even win split but it's not as if NS were playing that badly, they simply were (very obviously) not the better team
they played pretty bad on lotus, and way to individual on split. for example on the last round they tried to fake B, but it was just dambi and fade, but they had a yoru who can tp across the map awping on ramp. the decision making wasn't on par with their previous
yeah i'm pretty sure brawk just straight up admitted they were experimenting in sao paulo, would explain why they kept picking abyss there but they banned it against NS in favor of their previous permaban split
mfs mad over it now but nrg literally admitted to this weeks ago that they were hiding some stuff because they already qualified
its not immoral to experiment if you qualify but some people genuinely believe that NRG hates lev and threw so that they wouldn't go to champs
The players and coach were pretty transparent in interviews about using the playoff games to practice their bad maps. I thought that was apparent since they kept spamming Abyss and Sunset despite those maps being their only losses the entire split
