What does it mean? I heard it through analyst and streamers

to squeeze every ounce of optimality out of something

Take the derivative and equal it zero

what about for the function x^3 = 0

is the derivative equal to 0?
is 0 a min or max of that function?

Didn't get what u mean by that honestly

the derivative being equal to zero doesn't necessarily mean there's a relative extrema at that x-value

Oh, I see. Yeah, you right. I've never said it does tho. I was confused cuz you said the "function x^3 = 0", think you meant the function f(x) = x^3. But yeah, you right, I'll make it more detailed next time

its stuff like when a team wins pistol round and say u have a phoenix you give him the orbs plant and let him chase the ecos to get closer to ult

its from what i understand about feeding orbs and shi like dat

yea, you're trying to get as much optimality out of the orbs as possible by stacking them into one player

Imagine it’s a 1v5 situation and anyone on your team can run up to that 1 player and kill them but your team decides to let a specific player get the orb if available, let them plant and then go chase. Other 4 teammates can chill and play passively while all this is happening and play to trade

I've seen this happen once or twice, I wonder how long before it becomes a more regular occurrence
