Is this Champs the most open international ever? It feels like most teams could win.
NS and 100T looked like clear favourites, but NS got reverse swept by GE, and 100T almost lost Americas finals. Now it just feels like anyone can win this thing

its crazy, i really don't even know who to root for... i would love to see a CN team, especially XLG or TYL, otherwise maybe loud or GE

Its international match up now, not regionals. I do feel like Nongshim has the edge over 100T cause Nongshim are proven internationals and their playstyle is something Americas & EMEA teams not used to playing, so it'll be more effective. 100T is name that isn't usually associated with internationals, so they might not used to international teams playstyle.
Underestimating teams and region also a thing (G2 XLG reaction), and if international rookies like LEV can win masters just goes to show who improves during the tournament can win it even if not favourites.
