At the end of the day, champs is in September/October so the best teams at that point should go. no more points BS, just take the top 3/4 from every region for every tourney from now on. No more scenarios, no more points.

this is true but you should be getting more points for international results, idk we didn't have this team in kickoff due to age restrictions, had a crazy stage 1, crazy masters, good stage 2 groups, even win a playoff game and then we trolled map vetos and lost to 100t and G2 sure, but those 2 losses shouldn't feel enough to stop them from qualifying given the year they've had. These back-to-back losses are really LEV's only downpoint all season, not including kick off because again, we didn't have Neon, playing with a sub with players on other roles, etc etc. 100T has been really consistent ever since stage 1 and is clearly deserving of making it, LOUD prove they deserve it with their incredible run, but can we really say the same about G2? They did win stage 1 regionals but that's been their only highpoint all season. They've been mediocre all season long, hell even now in playoffs they were mediocre, but because they turned up for 1 massive series vs LEV, its all good. I mean sure LEV should've just won, we weren't good enough, that's true. But the format should never be allowing G2 to go ahead of LEV.

We literally saw it yesterday. Points stopped mattering and NRG ran it down at the end of a bo5 instead of finding another option. Why? Because points stopped mattering.
masters also has prize money you know, teams will want to get that money for their org
IMO I hope the points system is removed, idk how next year will be but it should be like this, every masters or champions should have only the top teams from the previous stage.
