buy me the 100$ worth of vp
All these fckers screaming about “human rights” in Saudi don’t even realize the same sht happens in Europe, especially in places like Germany, where Islamophobia is baked into the system. People literally get arrested over tweets, especially if they’re foreigners. But nah, they look the other way when it's happening at home.
Don’t wanna watch the EWC? Then don’t. Nobody’s forcing you. If orgs are boycotting, cool, that’s their call. But let’s not pretend your little outrage is gonna do anything—money runs this world. Oil money, not blood money. (And yeah, free Palestine while we're at it.)
It’s always the same double standard. When people go to Europe or the US, they’re expected to follow the rules, and most of them do. But the second it’s an Arab or Middle Eastern country hosting something? Suddenly people act like they’re above the law and can disrespect the culture however they want.
Just look at how the World Cup went in Qatar. Everyone was crying beforehand, “Oh no alcohol, oh no rainbow flags”, as if respecting a different culture for a few weeks is oppression. Then the event actually happened, and it was one of the best World Cups ever. Amazing stadiums, zero major incidents, and fans from all over the world vibing. But the Western media still couldn’t give it props because it didn’t fit their narrative.
Bottom line: not everything has to cater to Western expectations. If you’re cool with rules in Europe, be cool with them elsewhere. Respect isn’t a one-way street.
I would expect anyone that goes to any country to respect their laws/traditions
It's not like they gonna pay teams with blood money
