The series played out on TYLOO's pick of Sunset, BLG's pick of Summit, and TYLOO's pick of Split. TYLOO won Sunset 14-12, Summit 13-6, and Split

TYLOO's pick of Sunset was one anybody could have expected. The team was 5-0 on the map in Stage 2 using a Chamber-Sage double-Sentinel comp, and continued with that same comp in this match.

Against BLG's double-Duelist comp, TYLOO claimed just five rounds on defense, but flourished on attack. A run of five straight out of the gates was met with some resistance from BLG, who forced overtime with two straight round wins at the death. In overtime though, it was TYLOO coming out on top, in no small part thanks to slowly 's map-high 27 kills.

BLG picked Summit, a map that TYLOO had only played twice before and won twice in Stage 2. While BLG was 3-2 on the map in the stage, it had a set identity centered around a Raze-Neon, double-Duelist comp. TYLOO entered Summit with its Phoenix-Waylay comp with Fade as the Initiator, and dominated out of the gates.

Led by Indonesian Duelist splash 's 19 kills on the side, TYLOO jumped out to a 10-2 lead on attack, and managed to close out the series with more than enough room for comfort, 13-6.

TYLOO's pick of Split could not have been any more back-and-forth. While both teams went with the usual Viper-Omen, double-Controller comp, BLG stuck with Yoru-Waylay as its double-Duelist pair, while TYLOO had the slowly-splash duo on Jett and Raze.

What started like another dominant TYLOO map soon turned upside down, as BLG showed signs of resistance on defense but entered halftime down 7-5. On a map that can be considered more defender-sided, TYLOO winning the pistol should have spelled the beginning of the end. Across three maps to that point, TYLOO had a 5-1 advantage in pistols, never quite letting BLG work its way into the game.

However, after shutting down a would-be bonus, BLG went on a run of seven straight rounds to reach map point and force a fourth map. From there, TYLOO found a second wind, claiming three straight to force overtime.

Both sides had more success on attack, and that continued into overtime. Across two exchanges of OT, only attacker-sided rounds were won, until a pair of defender-sided wins were exchanged. At 15-15, TYLOO claimed an attack-side win, and enveloped BLG in a five-on-four scenario to close out the retake that will live in infamy for the org.

Before heading on over to Shanghai, though, he and TYLOO have a rematch with JDG in the Grand Final in a matchup that will see VCT China crown a first-time regional champion. JDG will have the double-map ban in the best-of-five series, which will take place on Sunday.
