uh they shouldnt do anything its riot games' fault not geng's and it didnt rlly affect that much aside from a singular kill in one round
In the game between GEN.G and GE, t3xture was holding an aggressive A main angle on Sunset and was inside a Cypher cage
GE used a roomba and a prowler to clear it but it didn't detect t3xture due to a massive Cypher bug going on right now, so they didn't check the angle again
Once the cage dropped he did an insane flick and got one... but the problem was he shouldn't have even gotten one in the first place
unless gen.g have been abusing that glitch every match then yea compensate
but i mean its ritos game so blame them for not patching that glitch already
Funnily enough, the bug entered the limelight after this incident. I don't think it was discovered in ranked or anything, otherwise it would have been detected like Omen's shrouded step bug and Waylay's refract bug
the cage didnt drop t3xture knew he had timing since the cage was still up and GE's guard was down and peeked through the cage
at 12-13 favoured to geng on sunset, GE caged A elbow where t3xture was oping and threw a boombot AND prowler into the cage but due to a bug where standing in a cypher cage makes you undetectable by any ability, t3xture was not detected by both of the util, and he peeks through the cage and kills their entry raze, which leads to autumn (yoru) just trying to brute force entry with a flash in hopes of getting the trade but hes killed by the op as well and as the rest of GE try to enter A short, geng's omen one ways which leads to all of them getting killed by Ash on site and they win map 2 and map 3
No it’s gonna set a bad precedent. I can imagine fans of other teams trying to find same bug and ask for replays/points for games that already happened weeks ago
It's unfortunate but the only thing that could've been done was a round reroll had GE known about the bug and reported it during the match. Giving a champs point as compensation is unfair to other teams in contention like FS.
A rollback on a completed game this late just isn't in the cards. Tbh even if it was on the same day as the game stuff like this is bound to leave a bad taste in the mouth for at least one of the teams. A champ point compensation would also be pretty controversial for teams that are close in placement to GE. Unwinnable situation for all parties.
