felt like basically anyone could win an event which made the whole year way more fun to watch

2023 imo. Every event was entertaining. Lock in was a lot of fun, Tokyo had insane moments as well (kangkang's op especially), EG's insane run and Demon1 proving to everyone that he's the best. PRX's last dance (at the time) and Bilibili Ardiis. Demon1 made that year so entertaining how he talked so much shit and actually backing it up. He was one tapping everyone.

as much as i want that to happen i lowkey think nrg will win champs again, new map and nrg control it better then anybody else, just like corrode in 2025.
