Imagine there's only 5 spots free in the Valorant HOF

Besides the obvious picks in Aspas, Asuna, and Ethan, which 2 other players would you include

for player to be goat in the region i would argue he has to win a masters at least, sorry mako
that leaves GEN ‘24, T1 ‘25, PRX ‘25, NS ‘26
i take out NS ‘26 because they’re too new, story nice but none of them can be the goat. and no one is arguing Rb GOAT of apac.
from GEN ‘24 i take t3xture and meteor
from T1 ‘25 i take meteor and buzz
from PRX ‘25 you have 3 players that have reached FIVE grand finals
something isnt here unfortunately

i narrow it down to meteor, t3xture, f0rsakeN, jinggg, d4v41, someone make an argument for BuZz in APAC goat conversation if you want taking into account the Sylvan incident
meteor and t3xture were irrelevant till 2024
the latter 3 hit 2nd copenhagen gf, 2nd champs 23 before gen even got a lick of success in 2024
then prx dropped off 2024
2025 comes, meteor leaves to t1, geng goes to shit after toronto
so here i take out texture
2025 stage 1, prx are in a rut, who steps up? jinggg and f0rsakeN.
prx win toronto, who’s the best player in their run? f0rsakeN.

but for parity let’s go from franchising onwards since pre-franchising qualifers are hard to benchmark
so here it’s now down to:

  • Meteor (4th 2023, 1st 2024 KO, 2nd 2024 S1, 1st 2024 S2, 2nd 2025 KO, 2nd 2026 KO, 2nd Madrid, 1st Shanghai, 1st Bangkok)
  • f0rsakeN (1st 2023, 2nd 2024 KO, 1st 2024 S1, 1st 2025 S2, 1st 2026 S1, 3rd Tokyo, 2nd Champs LA, 3rd Madrid 2024, 1st Toronto, 4th Champs Paris, 2nd Santiago, 2nd London)

if i think of APAC, i think of wgaming. if i think of wgaming, i think of PRX. if i think of PRX, i think of f0rsakeN. while meteor might have more masters wins, f0rsakeN has had decently consistent success throughout 2023, 2025 and 2026, while meteor has only had a good year and a half from 2024-Bangkok. i don’t want to go by ring culture (but here i am doing it) but there’s a huge massive gap. and anyone you ask would say PRX is the GOAT team in APAC valorant history. not best team, because they haven’t reached GEN ‘24 levels of dominance (unless they place high in S2 and deep run at champs).
in my opinion, f0rsakeN’s ceiling is higher, and i don’t want to pull the 28 agents card but that certainly helps

and let’s not talk about the cultural impact f0rsakeN and gang’s style has had on valorant not just in the region, but in the entire world. f0rsakeN is furthermore a representative of ID valorant (apart from tehbotol/xffero), as i don’t think indos are too proud of RRQ atm. meanwhile, meteor is just another cracked korean.

while f0rsakeN might be having a rough patch rn, watching his 28-agent compilation reminds me of all the times he’s dug himself out of these. kickoff LF v rrq this year. 2025 stage 1 lower finals if you want to go further back. and so on and so forth. he’s there when you need him, that ace against NRG, the last round of toronto. people call him a highlight merchant but how can you be having SO MANY HIGHLIGHTS over SO MANY YEARS?
form is temporary, CLASS is permanent.

there might be another contender, but there’s only 1. unless you want to make an argument for Jinggg or d4v41, or maybe even something, there are only TWO candidates for goat APAC player.

if i think of PRX, i think of f0rsakeN

said no one ever btw. he may be the oldest player of prx but jinng and something are definitely the identity of this team. must be fun for f0rsaken being mid on every agent except omen maybe and being called the "goat flex".

people call him a highlight merchant but how can you be having SO MANY HIGHLIGHTS over SO MANY YEARS?

wow the goat flex having two highlights per year. definitely the best oat you're right. because he can't put up dominant performances all you have to glaze him on is his pokidex and 2 highlights per year.

i just don't see the hype. he isn't the main igl but still manages to be negative most of the time. has had ONE memorable performance vs rrq in stage 1 lower finals last year (+34) and nothing more. im not gonna sit here and say that stats tell all the story but it does about 70% of it.

you can make an argument about him being consistent because that they are but i would much rather have t3xture or jingg here

prx win toronto, who’s the best player in their run? f0rsakeN.

he literally was asleep 2 of the 4 games they had. i can give him the fact that he stepped up when it mattered but he was not their best player in toronto.

it’s probably because i like him but with everything else that is prx, you can’t narrow down their identity to a single person, sorry for implying that earlier. all 3 just have ridiculous plays whether it’s util or mechanics and thats what prx is as a whole. but imo the face of prx will always be one of jason/jj because they started it. they started the whole thing. technically f0rsakeN was there longer but its negligible
between the two of them it’s up to you to judge, i can’t argue better for either side being a better representation of prx because they are THE duo of valorant.

it’s only two because i have the memory of a goldfish and im lazy LMAO where were you for the nrg ace on haven? the omen sunset game v xlg at champs? surely you’re not saying mr “highlight merchant” has 2 highlights a year. youre joking LMAOO
what’s wrong with that? that’s the entire point of apac valorant. absolute chaos. if you’re making an argument for goat player in general all time sure you can pick whoever you want
but this is APAC. this is 5man rushes, this is random bullshit go, this is plays upon plays upon plays. sorry for having a unique style then, if all you want is emea chess matches and american cleanliness
btw what are you saying about “cant put up dominant performances” thats literally his thing

also you cannot be expecting one player to frag out EVERY game with something, invy, d4v41, jinggg on his team, this is the best APAC team of all time on paper. i still consider GEN on par for now but that’s because they had the results to back it up till champs
point being, do you expect him to be the highest player on the scoreboard every single match, with how volatile valorant and its metas are and how good his teammates are? yes you say you dont care about stats but they shouldnt be half the reason you have an opinion of a player. he isn’t putting up boaster numbers, and yes in this year’s finals he was bad + prx v edg sunset champs 24, but there’s no denying that in big regional games he is the man. 2025 stage 1, 2026 kickoff, 2026 stage 1, he is always there.
call him a regional merchant if you want

why t3xture just curious
i can get jinggg though

asleep in which ones exactly? i only see the routine loss to geng. do you think perma omen every game should be top fragging in kills? look at the assist numbers if you want a stat that bad lmao, look at his teammates’ numbers too. as i said earlier, with a team like prx, on their day, there are never enough kills to go around.

let’s see your argument for anyone else, maybe jinggg then? the only other players who deserved toronto mvp (and his defense, shouldve gotten it if not for only finals winner getting it) is alfajer 100%, and maybe spring has an outside shot.

so piggybacking off of ur point, i will never consider f0rsaken a goat unless he can prove that with bad teammates he can still frag out. out of 13 internationals he has had a negative rating 8 times, and the 6 where he had a positive rating, 3 were 1.03, 1.01, and 1.04. and the only two semi dominant ones were reykjavik and toronto (1.12).

im not talking about assists when going through a smoke and getting a kill counts as an assist for the smoker.

and what exactly is the point of being semi good in regionals when you can't show up in internationals? he quite literally has one of the worst ratings in internationals i have seen of players who are put into goat debates.

#39

okay sure i respect your opinion
prx were never really a rating team but sure

mkay sure the smoker’s main kpi is being discounted but sure

are we talking about the goat debate or the apac debate here

Idk man I think of forsaken first when I think of prx. While a lot of this is valid people act like he's absolutely ass when he's definitely not. He's not the absolute best player on prx but he's hella creative and I love watching him play.

I play left hand and high sens because of him and I think he manages to do something interesting in a lot of matches.

He may not be the goat of APAC but he's a very fun player to watch and his pokedex isn't all show tbh. Even if it is until someone else does it, it's still gonna be impressive. I don't think everyone watches valorant for the results and stats.
