Alfa, there's no debate Aspas and chron can be second to him and ethan too but it's alfa on top

2021 you could say TenZ but not in 2024
2022 or 23 is a Derke Aspas competition with Boaster and Alfajer and Less and Saddhak somewhere in the mix + the Chron stories but not in 25 or 26
2025 we got the ethan dual champs winner but in 2022 he wouldn't even exist as a contender
So there is no goat of valorant at all

imo val just doesn't have one mechanical consistent god like prime s1mple or zywoo. closest is aspas I guess, cuz he has been elite since 2022, but he doesn't make internationals that often. Until val has a player whose team wins masters/goes deep in internationals consistently, at the rate of 3/3 like prime fnatic AND is the best player of his team, then chron is still the GOAT

imho vct is just not old enough to have a defined GOAT yet. There wasn't a dominator, there wasn't a player whose team was almost at every masters/champs and you could say ''yeah he was the best on his team and in the world for a long time''. Valorant is just too inconsistent with this, always a new masters/champs winner, so until somebody has a run similar to fnatic, it's just chron due to achievements

chron was in 2021 masters 2 and champs, 2022 he did worse but also messed up cuz of the war, then 2023 he was in every event, 2024 in the last 2, and 2025 in the last 2

yeah that's unreal godly consistency. I would even say that given how constantly changing vct is, chron being essential to his team and having these many deep runs just shows how unique he is in the scene.
I don't really believe these ones but out of the ones not mentioned yet, next would probably be f0rsaken and Boaster

one less masters. I personally rank chronicle higher just because he is so incredibly consistent in such an inconsistent game if it makes sense.
2021 - wins masters and finalist of champs
2022 - war issues
2023 - lock in, masters wins
2024 - consistent in vct emea
2025 - finalists of vct toronto, finalists of paris
2026 - 4th at London
Like the guy has been at masters/champs and went far there. also, yeah I am a casual, but their overall career ratings are relatively similar (1.11, 1.14), and their roles are also different
