I'm just disappointed man how can these players be so good at their clubs and just fail this badly Mendes was the only one trying on that field
mostly on Martinez, he only gives Ramos 36 minutes playtime this whole WC & idk how good pedro neto was but this world cup he's mid at best

Pretty obvious CR7 want the whole team turn around him, making them predictable and wasting talent that could also make the difference even without CR7. Take Norway in compairaison, the game didnt turn around Haaland, and the few time he got an occasion he makes the difference. (And sometimes it's even his teamplayer that do the job since they are allowed to do try without having to pass to their main player.

From what I can tell it's a FiNESSE-esque case where he was revolutionary and his impact will be remembered forever, but he got sort of cocky and stuck around longer than he was capable and it's tainted his legacy a bit
Why would i care about Ronaldo? As a Portuguese person he has brought me nothing but sadness and disappointment, he has never been good for my country EVER, and the worst part is that i have to deal with his 3rd world army of cult followers
The only major trophy my country ever won was thanks to payet who injured him in the final and let 11 portuguese players who care about the nation play, not 10 who care about the nation, and 1 who cares about himself

I don't know why you guys had your hopes up man, Portugal never had a big game player/striker up top as the best player from that country is now old and needs rest but still tried to play, no subs, nothing. Everyone has to accept reality.
