Key Discussion Points
The group addresses the reputation of FrosT as one of the "most difficult" people to work with in Tier 1 Valorant. FrosT defends his intensity, explaining that he enforces high standards and is only "difficult" when players refuse to take accountability or try to gaslight him after poor performances. He notes that the easiest way to diffuse tension with him is simply to admit a mistake ("my bad").
FrosT reflects on the frustrations at Global Esports in London, emphasizing the need for players to be professional and meet performance expectations. He contrasts the "mad" versus "sad" reactions to losses and criticizes a lack of internal discipline.
The panel dives into the role of In-Game Leaders (IGLs), distinguishing between fragging ability and the critical skill of mid-round calling. FrosT argues that mid-rounding is the most valuable commodity in the game and that fans/critics often fail to understand the nuance of coaching responsibilities.
They discuss the stress of last-minute team composition changes and the difficulty of balancing flexibility with established systems. Governor shares his experience playing under FrosT's system at Talon, noting that while it was stressful, it forced growth.
The conversation shifts to Full Sense, with FrosT expressing high praise for players like crws and primmie. They also touch upon the professional futures of the guests, with Governor discussing his current focus on collegiate play and potential plans for 2027.

mfer ai'd it
said that having an IGL like boaster is very important where he mid rounds and micro manages player rather than having a fragging igl.
Perhaps I treated you too harshly
I think FrosT forgets that his players are 18-19 they haven't experienced people being brunt to them. Hell for many of them its there first time living away from home.
So when he does try the hard coaching approch it will not work with everyone he has to draw the line between how to deal with different kinds of people.
Coaching in a sense is like a class teaching job not everyone will get it on the first try and his job is to work on different approach to communicate.
I mean this is also on GE manegement to some degree when people have conflict you need to find an amicable solution from what FrosT is saying there was no discussion as a team before the management took action

yeah... it's hard to balance discipline when these kids have done nothing but play video games their entire lives. he's definitely not a fraud, seeing that he keeps getting picked up to improve middle-of-the-pack rosters
(blunt, not brunt)

he did say in the videos he took account for that, he wasn't as hard as he did with previous teams he had. He said that he was proportionate and was harder on more experienced and older players that have been on global longer like krystal

GE are in their 20s. Udo is the youngest on the team. The rest of the team are from 22 to 25. What are you talking about?

whats the tejo ult incident?
I've gone through half of the podcast here's what he said about GE and patmen:
1) There were issues brewing since Ho chi Minh but it was still all good till the xlg game
2) The players didn't bring the issue up to him directly, basically there was no conversation where they told him "we don't like the way you talk, change or you're gone". They were talking to management behind his back and he had no idea.
3) Patmen wasn't alone in wanting him gone he said someone who could've solved the issue was also involved (presumably platoon)
4) Patmen texted him after the LEV loss saying he threw and he was sorry and they were good
5) They played a timeout clip from the 3rd map from the xlg series where he told them to do something and they did something else making him mad (also it seemed like he was mad at patmen during the timeout because he didn't use his ult and called him out)
6) He was mad after the xlg loss because he believes they threw every map they lost at London (they were in the lead every map) and people weren't mad after the xlg loss which made it feel like they didn't care
7) Might have accidentally made people feel like they were on the chopping block after the xlg loss even though he didn't intend to kick anyone
8) People were asking him to kick kristal after kickoff but he didn't and worked with him to improve instead (he turned into their best player by london)
9) Said that there are good people on the team and in the management (I'm assuming he's still good with autumn and kristal/udotan)
10) Said he wouldn't yell at 18 yr olds the same way and that 25 year olds shouldn't be treated like kids (GE players are around 24-25)
11) GE management asked him to mend relationships with the guys but he chose to accept FS offer instead
Summary: Seems like shit went south after the xlg game because he was mad at patmen for throwing breeze (didn't use ult, got owned by happywei on lurks) and Pat didn't take accountability for it which made him more mad
LostSir [#12]whats the tejo ult incident?
