most of the people on here are selfish lmao, you guys don't care about the quality of the event, u only care about if YOUR favorite team and the most 'popular' looking teams qualify
if anything, people should be excited that newer teams are qualifying because it shows that the game is becoming more competitive
ANYWAYS, here are some GENUINE storylines to get people excited for london:
APAC:
- GE storyline: first time at an international, patmen gets dropped after winning toronto with PRX, only to eliminate them with a different team to qualify to london
- FS storyline: PRIMMIE at an international - he has great potential to show that he's one of the greatest by going up against some of the best players
- T1: potential for a second trophy/ PRX: potential to win 2 masters across a year
EMEA:
- VIT: are supposedly THE superteam, after looking shit in the group stage of stage 1, they have a great chance to prove themselves
- TH: benjy in his home country, INSANE ALMOST CHOKE OT match against FNATIC, TH can prove that they aren't chokers anymore at london after many times of coming close to winning but never succeeding
AMERICAS:
no storyline for americas teams so far because its still too early to tell who will qualify - are a week behind
CN:
i dont watch CN but i will say that china could be more competitive than people think
