If asuna gets dropped next year, do you think 100T might make an academy roster and keep him there?
He's a solid player and would probably fry in tier two, depending on the players around him he could be good for helping rookies get experience. With how long he's been playing you can either have him IGl or midround. He can stay as a flex player, Maybe even run smokes, Despite his mid performances in tier 1 he could genuinely play anything in tier 2.

This is just a roster I'm pulling out of my ass as an example but imagine smth like this.

Sonofcar: Duelist
Asuna: Flex
Tdawgg: Scans(IGL maybe? I genuinely forgot that man's role-)
Someone? Idk
Nightz: Smokes

And a random coach (maybe oderus or coach joe if either of them are available, I haven't been keeping track.)

But 100T could genuinely use Asuna as an experience builder for rookie players. He's solid enough to where he wouldn't drag a tier 2 team down.

100T can park young talent on an academy roster and have asuna build experience for them. If 100T start underperforming they can promote those academy players for hella cheap!! Maybe even free depending on contracts-

He might not be 100T material, but he's definitely a solid enough player to help newer players get good.

The fact he doesn't deserve to be in tier 1 doesn't mean he also deserves tier 2. There is so much talent in tier 2

Nah but if they genuinely just buy out a good tier 2 roster, grab a cracked rookie, slap asuna in there for experience building, it's an ez way to have cheap player upgrades if your academy guys do good.

Tier 2 is a better scene than GC in terms of viewership, sponsors and earnings, therefore it is better to have an acad
