he didnt even get banned for slurs, he mustve done something way fucked up
the fact that neither cane or riot is explicitly saying what caused the ban can only mean that publicizing that info will only make it worse, which is kinda insane
It must be one of the worst thing possible considering a pdf didn't get a single day ban in league from riot and was allowed to play in lck earning millions.

i totally agree. However, valorant was his main source of income (from both streaming and being signed with NV)
this means this guy has to wait an entire year for income or have a job that probably will have a shit pay (yes that reality i know, i worked for 5 bucks an hour). Thats the main issue, what he has done is probably really bad, however is it 1 year ban worthy?
i mean if its that important to him and his life he shouldnt be jeopardising it by doing dumb shit, consequences have to be impactful for ppl to actually care about them

it's also possible that something was brought up to riot privately that didn't want to be made public, but i hope even in that case a little transparency is given rather than just dropping a 12 month ban like that
its a serious consequence and bringing it to light will clear if its a bit overkill or if it is justified
that's for riot to decide. playing valorant for a job isn't promised to him, and if they don't like how he conducts himself then they have the right to make that decision

this implies at least that slurs were involved but he might've made CP jokes cause alot of people say that looked into it say that was it and they say ion said he wasn't bad for slurs
and what we generally know about him the being said nothing is confirmed he probably did say slurs on stream or in ranked or a random discord but i won't be looking for it personally

do you not understand the concept of hyperbole, if he does dumb shit when hes in a tier 1 team, it will have consequences beyond just himself, and ultimately its better, not only for him, but for the scene in general that hes punished before hes in a position where it could fuck his entire team when he gets banned mid season, or fucks the entire league cause they lose sponsors mid stage and have to replace all the PC's or monitors and we get constant tech pauses because of it, when you play an esport you represent the company, the org, and the game, doing shit like this when your in that position will fuck so many people, not just him
need to remember he's just a kid tho and would have a better outlet to learn and mature being in a team environment meanwhile Zellsis still ripping it at the age of 40 and yet no ban for him.

exactly, I've read a ton of comments about things he allegedly said. But in the announcement from both Cane and RIOT, they did not mention anything. No one is bringing proof and I'm just seeing copy paste comments.
